Join Our New San Carlos Farmers Market!
We’re so excited to bring a brand-new farmers market to the heart of the San Carlos neighborhood! Our first market will take place on Sunday, November 30th, and we’re planning to continue one Sunday a month starting in 2026. The community is already buzzing with excitement, and we’d love for you to be part of it! As a nonprofit, our goal is simply to create a fun, welcoming event that connects neighbors and supports local makers, growers, and small businesses. The vendor fee is just $25, and we’ll be spreading the word through social media, neighborhood signage, and local churches and businesses. We’re thrilled to bring this community market to life and connect local growers, makers, and neighbors right here in San Carlos.

We are excited that we have been approved as a Certified Farmers Market, authorized by the San Diego County Department of Agriculture, Weights & Measures. That means certified producers can sell directly to customers — and we’ll also have a “community section” for locally made crafts, packaged foods, and nonprofits.

We’re a nonprofit organization, and our $25 vendor fee simply helps cover our insurance and permit costs. Thank you for helping build this neighborhood tradition!

Vendor Categories & Requirements

🌿 Certified Producers (Farmers)

• Must have a valid Certified Producer’s Certificate (CPC) from your home county.

• Only products listed on your CPC may be sold.

• Display your CPC clearly at your booth.

• Provide a copy to the Market Manager.

🍞 Cottage Food / Packaged Food Vendors

• Must hold a Cottage Food Permit (Class A or B) or Processed Food Registration.

• Prepackaged, non-potentially hazardous foods only.

• Submit copy of permit with your application.

🌮 Prepared Food Vendors

• Require Temporary Food Facility (TFF) Permit from the County DEH.

• Must provide handwashing and food safety setup as required.

• Submit permit or proof of pending application before market day.

🎨 Non-Food Vendors (Artisans, Crafts)

• No permit required.

• Submit general product description for approval.
